PHYSICAL EDUCATION

During 2022 we managed to get back to our normal class activities and training for the different sports. The fixtures and traditional sports meets were resumed with all schools, as were the iconic ADE (Asociación Deportiva Estudiantil) tournaments. Our students took part, representing our school with great commitment and dedication, obtaining excellent results in the different chosen areas and sports.

Within SASS, all the Interhouses were held with much enthusiasm by our students and teachers, who enjoyed the events of healthy competition, representing and reviving our school's House Spirit.

After the first term which still had some restrictions, we managed to continue with our Outdoors Programme and fully cover all the camping outings during the second half of the year. This brought on some complications with the programming of activities with the anticipation we usually work with; both with communications to families and in terms of the workload and organisation that was doubled during the second term. Sports tours were also resumed to all the usual destinations: Uruguay, USA and our traditional tour to the UK.

The Professional Learning Communities as workspaces and areas for professional development were exceptional and of immense value for the sector, allowing us to generate training meetings on topics of interest for our department and share good practices.

As regards growth and development in our school, we specially highlight the Work Committee meetings to think together on the future facilities of the sector on the Campus.
