We started out 2021 working hard on one of our favourite projects: Traditional Tales. Although these stories are very well known by many of us, it gave us the opportunity to dive deeper into the genre, getting to know them and understanding their characteristics. Our first graders were able to understand why traditional tales are still so meaningful even though they were written so many years ago. These tales gave us the opportunity to understand our world, our society and its behaviour in a better way.
The children worked really hard on each challenge, which gave them many opportunities to enhance their use of the English Language.
We planned our project focusing on three competences -Character, Collaboration and Communication. Throughout the project they were able to develop skills, actions and qualities that have a positive impact on themselves as learners. We all had a blast!
