IT - Robots

Y3 students surprised us with three great robots they made especially for the Y1, 2 & 3 Concert.

Inspired by the characters in the Concert, Amador, Julián and Román prepared a Lorax and two Truffula trees. They combined art and technology in this STEAM project. They coded using MakeCode, and then downloaded the code to a micro:bit. They connected this to a Hummingbird, and got the servos and the lights working. Students worked collaboratively developing the competencies of Critical Thinking, Communication, Character and the main focus was on computational thinking.
