Concert - “The Thneed”

This year’s Y1, 2 and 3 Concert is a wonderful adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ sustainability tale, The Lorax. Today the story is more relevant than ever before. It helps us think about our Planet; how we can and must respect nature in our everyday choices. When the Once-ler discovers the Truffula trees, her greed causes the destruction of a whole ecosystem.

The Lorax reason with the Once-ler on behalf of the trees before everything is lost forever. The good news is that there is hope in the last Truffula seed!

Let It Grow, Let It Grow, like it did so long ago.

It is just one tiny seed, but it's all we really need.

It's time to change the life we lead, time to Let It Grow.

Let it grow, Let it grow, Let the love inside you show!

So…remember the Lorax’s advice…
