Kindergarten

Robotics and Technology Workshops

In K5, at the beginning of this year, they learnt about the difference between technological and non-technological devices. They used Quiver, an app to learn about augmented reality. This led them to start talking and thinking about robotics and coding. The children had the opportunity to code using Blue Bot, Bee Bot, Robot Mouse and Cubetto robots. They played a variety of coding games related to Math and board games such as Juego de la Oca. They had to solve problems by writing algorithms using and drawing arrows before giving instructions to the robot by pressing its buttons. They found this skill challenging and useful as a step towards coding.
