SEIL - Kindness

Within the framework of Spiritual Emotional Intelligence and Leadership and together with the Learning Centre team, in K3 we worked on Kindness. Together with the children, we talked about the actions that can be done to be kind to others, and how to put them into practice. Through the observation of videos, attentive listening to songs, and the identification of kindness in experiences and anecdotes expressed by the children, we started recognising the importance of having this value in our daily lives. Every time a kind gesture was evident in the class, the children stuck a small paper heart onto a large heart that remained all year in the classroom. Once the heart was complete, a Kindness Party was held in each classroom to celebrate. That day, each child earned their Champions of Kindness badge: Champions of Kindness do something nice every day. No act of kindness is too small even if it is just saying please or thank you, helping others, saying something nice to someone else, or sharing. Every kind act counts and makes a difference!
